8 Reasons To Try Hair Extensions
While there used to be a lot of scepticism and taboo around hair extensions, they have become extremely popular over the years. It seems just about every celebrity or Instagram influencer is wearing them. The good news is that these days you don't need to be on the who's who list to get a set of locks. Supply has met demand making them more accessible than ever, and women in the real world are taking advantage of it. Lawyers, personal trainers, mums, teens and queens everywhere are getting on board.
So... why should you try hair extensions?
Length
Lets face it, the number one reason to get hair extensions is to add length. Long healthy glossy hair just looks amazing! Unfortunately for many women growing 22 inches of hair is an impossible task. You've tried the vitamins, supplements the shampoos, conditioners and sleeping with your head upside down and nothing seems to work. Save yourself the stress and money spent on gimmick products and invest in a head of hair extensions instead... because they work.
That Feel Good Confidence
One of the major hitters for me is the confidence that comes with walking into a room looking my best, we all perform better with a dose of confidence under our belt! As a hair extension technician I began to notice a pattern with women coming in to get their hair done. They would often be a little timid at the start of their appointment, and by the time I would finish these same women would be fearless and full of sass.
Volume
It's not all about length, volume is a popular reason to consider hair extensions. One in three women will notice hair thinning or hair loss after age 30, and it can even start in their 20s. It's common for women who experience hair thinning to wear 50g-100g of hair extensions and get it cut to the length of their natural hair. Our hair packages start at small quantities to ensure you can achieve your natural volume if that's what is desired.
Colour Experimentation
Extensions are a great (and reversible) way to try out new colours. You can add lowlights/highlights to obtain that Balayage or Ombré look without worrying about bleaching and damaging your natural hair.
Regretful Haircut!
We've all been there, you try out a new salon, ask them to trim your split ends and wind up losing the last 9 months of hard earned growth. Try ordering a set of hair extensions while you wait for your real hair to grow back. And arr... maybe find somebody else to put them in.
Event Hair
Be it your wedding day, graduation night or birthday party, leave an impression at the big event by flaunting the curls you've always dreamed of. You'll be sure to look amazing in those Facebook photos the next day.
No Damage
Sounds too good to be true right? Nope. Tape, Weft & Microbead hair extensions will not cause any damage to your natural hair, so long as they are properly installed by an experienced professional and maintained using the correct aftercare techniques.
Minimal Commitment
Cutting your natural hair is a big decision. The best thing about hair extensions is the flexibility, if you decide you want to give them a break you can have them removed and store them away until you feel the need to re-apply them. Hassle-free!
All in all, hair extensions are a fabulous look and with all of the different varieties available these days you can be sure to find something to suit you.
