I-tips are made up of single 1g strands of hair with a keratin stick like tip. Called the I-Tip. A silicone lined bead is threaded onto a strand of your natural hair and the I-Tip is then placed into the bead and clamped to create a seal. 100 strands make up a full head of microbead hair extensions. These are placed in 5-6 rows around your scalp. They can be worn for up to 6 weeks before needing maintenance.
